Our children are falling behind and missing critical education benchmarks. Reading and mathematics scores sharply declined during the COVID-19 pandemic. With school back in session, these kids need YOUR help! Join our CKC Tutoring team—either in-person or virtually—and help underserved children thrive.
CKC Tutoring?
If this is your first-time hearing about Gifts For All God’s Children, thank you for your interest in our mission! Connecting Kids to Christ (CKC) Tutoring is a one-on-one tutoring program that builds a foundation of success on Jesus Christ and academic progress.
Why Tutoring?
YOU can change this statistic. When you join our CKC Tutoring team, you can give a child the invaluable gift of one-on-one attention. You can prevent a child from slipping through the cracks and give them a second chance.
Who Can Tutor?
Not a rocket scientist or literary genius? No problem! We only ask that you come willing to learn and are passionate about helping children succeed academically.
Are you a high schooler or college student? Teacher or adult? Never tutored before in your life? Regardless of which category you belong to, we are confident that you can become a tutor!
What Does a Tutor Need to Know?
Great question! The short answer is, well, nothing. You do not need to know anything in advance.
Our team will fully train and prepare you before you begin tutoring a student. In addition, we provide the tools you need and will continue providing support. We will not cut you loose and leave you on your own!
What is the time commitment?
There are virtual and in-person tutoring sessions available. The virtual sessions are 1 hour per week, and you and your student can choose the schedule.
On-site programs occur once a week for up to two hours.
