Easter Outreach
SHOP OUR AMAZON WISHLIST
Easter celebrates the promise of new life. For children in under-resourced communities, that promise takes shape in simple ways: a basket filled with toys and books, hygiene essentials that meet real needs, and the knowledge that someone sees them and cares.
Each spring, Gifts For All God’s Children partners with churches and nonprofits across Michigan to deliver Easter baskets to thousands of children. These aren’t just baskets; they’re tangible expressions of God’s love, placed directly in the hands of kids who need to know they matter.
In 2025, 2,461 children from 37 ministry partners received Easter gifts, each one a reminder that hope is real.
There are three ways to bring Easter joy:
Your generosity fills Easter baskets with more than toys and candy. It fills them with hope.
Sponsor a Child (COMING SOON)

The Ripple Effect
When you support Gifts at Easter, you’re not just giving a child a basket. You’re empowering the local churches and ministries who know these children by name, the ones building relationships all year long.
Your gift enables our partners to show up for their communities with something tangible, something that says: You are loved. You are seen. You belong.
That’s the multiplication effect.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Easter sponsorship work?
When you sponsor a child for Easter, you make a donation and our team handles the shopping. We purchase age-appropriate toys, books, hygiene items, candy, and other fun items to fill a special Easter basket for the child you choose. Your sponsored child’s basket is then delivered through one of our local ministry partners.
Who are the children receiving Easter baskets?
The children served through our Easter program are identified by our partner churches and nonprofits across Michigan. These organizations work directly in their communities year-round and know which families are facing financial hardship. Children range from infants to teenagers.
Can I request an Easter basket for a child I know?
Easter baskets are distributed through our partner ministries. If you know a family in need, we encourage you to connect them with a church or organization in their community that partners with Gifts. Contact us and we can help identify a partner near them.
What items are most needed?
We always welcome: new stuffed animals (5″ or larger), outdoor toys like bubbles and chalk, coloring books with crayons, children’s body wash, toothbrushes, and plastic eggs filled with wrapped candy. Visit our Amazon Wish List to see the full list of needed items. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2UA3KWCBYBCUM/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex?
