We want to introduce you to our Woman of the Year! Lois is willing to serve wherever—and whenever she is needed. She is compassionate, kind, caring, and a true joy to work alongside.
Did you know that it takes Lois an hour—one way—to come volunteer with us? She dedicates herself to her work. Everything Lois stands for and does reflects her love for Jesus Christ.
If you have been around Gifts for All God’s Children, you have seen one of the hundreds of hats and scarves she has knit and crocheted. Her passion for making scarves and hats for underserved youth is an act of love.
Lois is involved in many aspects of GFAGC. She assists with inventorying all socks and underwear donations and color coordinates and matches hats, gloves, and scarves for our Christmas gift recipients. These items all go towards underserved youth during our Christmas program.
We had a flower bed filled with overgrown weeds on our property one time. Lois brought her chainsaw with her and dealt with the weeds herself. She did not want us to spend unnecessary funds when she could fix the problem herself!
Lois was honored as the Gifts for All God’s Children’s Woman of the Year recipient at the Council of Lutheran Women Luncheon on Tuesday, March 15th, at Warren’s Macomb County Community College Expo. We thank God for her genuine, loving heart and dedication to serving underserved youth in our community.
If you have also volunteered with Gifts for All God’s Children, we are incredibly grateful for your support! Your generosity enables us to minister to underserved youth and show them God’s love.
Are you interested in joining Lois and our other faithful volunteers? There are countless ways to get involved and we would love to hear from you!
