Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!

Psalm 106:1

This is the story of Jay. He was a student in our tutoring program and involved in everything at our CKC Center at East Bethlehem for about 3 years. Last summer, he did not attend summer camp or tutoring in the fall. Our repeated attempts to contact him were unsuccessful—until recently.

Jay finally answered our phone call and his excited first words were, “Can I come back to tutoring?” He was being raised by his grandmother and grandfather, but last summer his grandmother died, and she was our only contact to Jay.

God reconnected us to Jay and his grandfather, and they are both thrilled to be back at our center and at tutoring each week. Our hearts overflow with joy and thanksgiving now that Jay is back!

Our tutoring program is something that sets us apart from other organizations, and the tutors make a huge impact in the lives of children like Jay.
