Local nonprofit seeks individual and corporate sponsors to provide gifts for 3,000+ children in need this holiday season

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Gifts For All God’s Children is now accepting sponsorships for its 2025 Christmas program, which will serve more than 3,000 children in need in Southeast Michigan. Since its founding in 1987 at Faith Lutheran Church in Troy, the organization has provided gifts to more than 86,000 children in the community.

“There are many families struggling to provide for their children, , and we appreciate any help and assistance you can offer to make a difference in the lives of these children,” said Anna Marie Brewer, program manager. “Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas.”

Four Ways to Give

Gifts For All God’s Children offers four distinct giving options for individuals, families, churches, and businesses:

Sponsor a Child – Donors select a specific child and personally shop for five or six gifts including clothing, toys, books, and hygiene items. Sponsors receive the child’s name, age, and size information to ensure gifts are age-appropriate and needed. Click here to sponsor.

Donate Financially – Monetary donations allow the organization to shop on behalf of sponsors. Suggested donation levels include $30 for hygiene items, socks and underwear; $100 for a complete gift set including toys, books, clothing and hygiene items; and $300 to fully sponsor two children including warm winter coats. Click here to donate.

Shop the Amazon Wish List – Donors can purchase needed items directly from the organization’s wish list by clicking here and have them shipped directly to the workshop.

Purchase and Drop Off Items – Donors can buy items locally and drop them off at our workshop located at First Congregational Church, 1315 N. Pine St., DOOR D, Rochester, MI 48307.

Critical Needs

The organization has identified several high-priority items for this year’s program:

Hygiene Items: Children’s 3-in-1 body wash, baby lotion, baby body wash, baby shampoo, feminine pads, and toothbrushes (full-size new items only)

Toys: Brown baby dolls and fashion dolls, board games for ages 6-16, sports balls, building toys, and art supplies (new toys only)

Clothing: Winter coats, joggers, and school uniform pants for both boys and girls in khaki, black and navy, and athletic shoes in infant through adult size 6 (new clothing and shoes only)

Corporate Partnerships Welcome

Businesses are encouraged to participate through employee sponsorship programs, departmental challenges, or corporate donations. All contributions are tax-deductible, and Gifts For All God’s Children can work with companies to create customized giving campaigns.

“Corporate partnerships allow us to expand our reach significantly,” Brewer noted. “Whether a business sponsors five children or fifty, every contribution directly impacts a child in our community.”

Important Dates and Information

All sponsored gifts must arrive at the workshop by December 10, 2025. The workshop is located at 1315 N. Pine St., Rochester, MI, Door D, and is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. After Thanksgiving, our workshop hours expand to Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
